Brasswood
Where sound leads the narrative
In 2026, with the 7th edition of the festival, we enter a completely new chapter.
Brasswood Festival evolves into Brasswood Soundtracks – an international festival dedicated to the most powerful scores from films, games and TV series.
This year, Brasswood is devoted entirely to film music – its narrative power, tension, silence and climaxes.
The programme is built around compositions that live their own life beyond the screen and, in a concert setting, reveal the full depth of their sound.

12.09.2026
Opera Leśna · Sopot
In its new edition, the festival presents a specially curated line-up of original works from Oscar-winning films, acclaimed series, and the finest video games. Hollywood Stories and Polish Master Shots beneath the stars of Sopot’s forest.

Hollywood Stories
An international festival module dedicated to the music of the world’s biggest film productions.
In this module, original film composers, producers, and creators will appear on stage, with their music performed live in full symphonic arrangements.
This is music written for cinema, but performed live it reveals its greatest power – emotion, narrative, and a scale that cannot be experienced on screen.

Polish Master Shots
Concert narratives built from film scores that shape the contemporary identity of Polish cinema and popular culture.
On stage, audiences will hear themes from acclaimed films, TV series and video games – performed live in a full concert setting by the original composers, producers and creators.
13.09.2026
Olivia Star · Gdańsk
An intimate festival experience at the top of the tallest building in northern Poland. European Spotlight unfolds at sunset, overlooking the Tricity skyline and the Bay of Gdańsk. An evening where music meets the view.

European Spotlight
An evening with leading Italian film music.
On 13 September, European Spotlight comes to Gdańsk, taking over the Olivia Star space. Thirty-four floors above the city, with views stretching across the soundscapes of Brasswood Soundtracks.
Federico Albanese and Alter Echo String Quartet will reveal the festival’s more intimate side: contemporary European sounds where piano, electronics, and string quartet meet music written for cinema.
